Nearly all mounted units do not reach their stated L10 life. Mounted bearings fail due to “CLI Disease = Contamination, Lubrication, Installation”
Solid Housed Units overcomes these issues because they are completely sealed unit from the factory. Designed to go directly from shelf to the shaft. They are designed to stand extreme conditions. Choose the housing configuration that fits your need. For your convenience, we offer interchange solutions for hundreds of housed units that simply don’t offer the strength of these solid-block designs.

Multiple available sizes accommodate shaft diameters from 35 mm to 380 mm (1 7⁄16 in. to 15 in.).
Bearings accept up to 1.5 degrees of misalignment.
Protection against over-lubrication. Pressure relief valves come standard when unit is ordered with non-purgeable seals.
One-time shaft alignment on all housing unit styles. Machined feet ends allow for precise installation and blocking for faster future unit replacement.
